Holiday cottage booking and availability

We will take your booking or endeavour to answer your enquiry immediately. We will then confirm your enquiry by email shortly afterwards. Alternatively, please email your requirements and we will respond as soon as possible.

All bookings are on a weekly (or longer) basis from Saturday to Saturday.

Short breaks

Please telephone, or email miriamtod@hotmail.com for details of short breaks available off-season, i.e. between November and March.

For a short break there is a minimum stay of 3 nights and prices start at £395 in low season (November - March inclusive).

Please note: we do not usually offer short breaks from April - October (inclusive) but please ask in case we can help.

We always endeavour to answer emails within 24 hours.  If you have not heard from us please telephone on the number above, as emails do sometimes go astray.

At Christmas & New Year the minimum stay is 5 nights.

Please note that prices are given on the basis of 2 people sharing (dogs are free). One extra guest is permitted, over the age of 12 and by negotiation, at a total cost of £95 per week.

The cottage accommodation is ready from 15:30 and visitors are required to vacate by 10:00 at the latest on day of departure unless previously arranged otherwise.

We normally take up to 5 dogs at a time. If you have more than this please call to check; we may still be able to accommodate you.

We do not turn away reactive dogs, but remember that you are ultimately responsible for your dogs behaviour, and the same laws apply here as anywhere else. We live next door and our friendly male Dobermann is happy to join in a greeting through the fence!

You are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance. If you do not and you have to cancel your booking at short notice for any reason we cannot offer a refund.

Bookings and First Payment

An initial payment of £150 (£300 for a 2 week booking) will be required immediately upon booking, unless your booking is made less than 8 weeks before arrival, in which case payment of the full balance is required. Please note: your booking is NOT confirmed or held until this payment is received. The full balance will be required no later than 8 weeks before your arrival date. All bookings confirm your agreement to our full terms and conditions, a summary of which is at the bottom of this page.

How to book

Please check on the chart above to ensure that your desired dates are available.

Then telephone 07966-282242 between 9am and 7pm for a friendly chat of your requirements or email us at miriamtod@hotmail.com with your required dates to ensure that these dates are still available. (Someone else may be booking these at the same moment in time). We will then confirm the availability and price (and first payment if applicable). Once your payment is received, the required dates will be shown as unavailable to others.

Payment

Payment may be made electronically via PayPal (which includes credit card payment), or by bank transfer. Full details will be given upon booking. You will then be sent a booking confirmation and payment receipt. Please ensure that you include your name, address, telephone number/email address.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made no less than 30 days prior to your arrival date. A refund cannot be given unless we secure another booking within this time. If so, a refund of the balance due will be given minus a £40 administration fee. The administration fee applies to ANY and ALL refunds given. Please ensure that you arrange travel insurance to avoid any problems with cancellations.
