dogs, (yes, I know it's a long one - but sooner or later, some
puppy farm will produce such mixes just to satisfy those who'd
rather have a dog with a convoluted name than a nice healthy and
happy dog - AND WE'LL BE READY!). We also take lassies,
laddies and of course, grommits.
Breeds we don't accept
Err, there aren't any we don't accept, (except possibly were-wolves).
However, there may come a time when we get a dog(s) so badly behaved that we may have to exclude that breed; please don't be the ones who make this happen!
Why we do this...
A while ago we found we couldn't go on holiday with out great big Dobermann "Crunchie". We considered kennels but really didn't like what we saw there, we didn't want to dump Crunchie in a place like that, he was a much loved family member. Then there was the cost of the kennels as well - not cheap, and all the extras like being taken for long walks really put up the price. So we decided to start a place for people who love their dogs. We keep our prices low, not to be cheap but to let you to take your dogs on holiday.
Your responsibilities
It's great to be on holiday, and it's great to bring your dogs with you. It's even nicer when you know the place you're going to is really dog friendly, and set up especially for dogs. However, that doesn't mean you can abandon all cares and responsibilities. Chewing the postman or tasting the cows or sheep is bound to get you into trouble. Farmers do carry big guns for dogs that worry livestock...
Warning
Your dogs will get really tired here. There's so much to do and so much to explore. Being near the west coast of Britain, we get fully oxygenated air straight off the Atlantic ocean, and without the pollution that towns and cities produce. Many people notice a lot of extra energy and the best sleep at night that they'd long forgotten.
Be careful not to wear out your dogs completely.
