Despite the inclement weather we had a great time. Good hosts, lovely cottage, fab walks, superb beaches, friendly locals. Manorbier, Llansteffan and Newgale beaches recommended and the Sands Cafe at Newgale. Lots to see and do whatever the weather, so an A+ dog-friendly hol! Caroline, Malc & Wolfie, Dogs Monthly Magazine (April)

Thank you for letting us stay. It's been a great place to explore SW Wales and more importantly there was plenty of space for our 2 Great Danes and their beds too! Not sure what's in the Welsh air; never seen Lyla so lively :-) We have had a lovely week, everywhere we have gone everyone has been so welcoming and friendly - the dog-friendly beaches were a favourite, so much space to dig so many holes! We can't forget the meals we have had at The Carpenters, everyone was so friendly and there was room for Lyla and Bertie indoors too. Mustn't forget to mention the Chocolate Farm, so much choice we ended up spending a fortune on the very moreish chocolate. Thank you for your help too when we got our puncture, the use of your barn and the garage you recommended was very helpful. We will certainly recommend you to our Great Dane friends, there are not many places that can offer the space we need as well as the use of 3 fields and all with great views. Thank you again. Emma, Eddy, Lyla and Bertie, Kent (June)

What a brilliant place to stay. Everything you need, lots of space indoors and out. Excellent hosts, very helpful. Lots of good walking and dog friendly beaches. Couldn't ask for more. Jennie, Pennie, Jake and Bill, Somerset (June)

Super base for exploring - we had a lovely time. Dawn, Brian and Charley, London (July)

Marvellous accommodation. Andris and Mims have really tried to provide everything. Excellent hosts, full of local knowledge. Ask Andris about the "secret" beach to the west of Pendine. Great place to take the dogs. Our escape expert Lotta found a few ways out but our hosts soon plugged the gaps! Fantastic holiday. (The Taylor Family, Gloucester (July)

A real holiday for dogs! They loved it. Thank you. Luca and Kiko, Barnsley (August)

We had the most wonderful week! The dogs were ecstatic over the beaches, they settled at once into the cottage and I even managed the woodburner first try! Really comfortable, friendly and helpful and Harley and Chai are delightful. We'll definitely be coming back - and soon! It was perfect! Sue, Lesley, Lucy and Trixie, Lincolnshire (May)

Had a very relaxing week. Miriam and Andris were great hosts. Wonderful places to visit. Mr and Mrs Perry, Bristol (May)

Had a lovely week in beautiful surroundings which we and our very tired dogs enjoyed. We spent our time between the mountains and the coast. Do not miss a visit to the military end of Pendine at the weekend or in the evenings. Very quiet allowing your dogs lots of freedom and more seashells that you have ever seen in one place. Miriam and Andris were wonderful, couldn't be more helpful if you need to know anything about the local area. Kelly, Simon, Lilly and Red, Leicestershire (May)

Wonderful cottage, great views. Dogs loved it in the fields. What a fantastic welcome off the hosts and Harley and Chai. Great beaches for dogs. It's got it all here. See you again in September. Our second visit. Once again a fantastic 2 week holiday to this beautiful part of South Wales. Our dogs loved every day. Had a great day at Rhossili Bay and Worms Head - well worth a visit. Also Freshwater West at Castlemartin. Great meals at Savoy Inn - 2 for 1 meal, great deal! As always Miriam and Andris always on hand for advice. But the stars here - Harley and his lady Chai - we love them to bits. My God, a book about them, how good is that! Well worth a read - oh well, back to reality, boo! Will be back again. Many thanks, we'll miss you all. Alec, Mark, Benji and Jack, Wirral (June)

Excellent facilities and location. Thoughtful provision of maps etc. A great place to stay. Thank you. Mike and Rachel, Huddersfield (July)
