This is where you'll stay
You'll stay in a lovely one double bedroomed cottage, with it's own secure garden, near Llangynin, St Clears.  The location couldn't be more tranquil and delightful, overlooking rolling hills and farmland.  Despite this, we are within easy reach of main roads (M4/A40) and many local attractions. Although described as one bedroomed, it can comfortably sleep another four people on two futons in the living room.   We don't provide dog beds as everyone's dogs are different, and dogs often won't settle on a strange and unfamiliar bed. The cottage dining room is bigger than many people's living-rooms, so there's more than enough  space for everyone, dogs included. HolidaysForDogs.com: Cottage
There's plenty of room to move about in the extremely spacious lounge. It has a log stove for heating, but it's doubtful if you'd ever actually need it.  We supply you with a  large box of logs, but if you manage to use these up, there's plenty more on sale.  Patio doors open onto a decked balcony, overlooking two lovely ornamental ponds - for those glorious hot summer days when iridescent blue dragonflies play amongst the water lilies.   Being in an elevated location with fantastic views, we're also blessed with a cooling breeze that prevents really hot days from becoming unbearable. There's possibly no nicer way to pass a summer's evening than just sitting there, or in the garden, enjoying a bottle of good wine with a few nibbles, whilst the dogs enjoy the peace and calm of the countryside. If the weather isn't quite right for sitting outside, then the dining room/kitchen is the place to be. A large table caters for occasions when you have a family to feed or invite new friends back.  Sit back and feast like kings, then, when you're full of the local goodies and delicacies, perhaps enjoy a board game, a browse of the internet on the computer provided, or one of the many books we've amassed. There should be something there for everyone.  There's plenty of room for a small army of dogs so no-one needs to be excluded because a room becomes too full!  The door opens onto the private road that leads to the farm, with the main road some one hundred and fifty yards away, so dogs wandering out this way are seldom in danger.   This road is infrequently used by the odd tractor or delivery vehicle so a little care is still required. This is just one example of the magnificent views from the cottage. Looking out, you can see for miles from the great south-facing windows.  If the last hill weren't in the way, you'd see the sea at Pendine, the Bristol channel, and then the Atlantic ocean.

There is plenty of land for walking your dog but we would ask that you kindly observe the country code and keep your dogs on a lead where there is livestock. Our lower fields are working fields, and sometimes hold cattle, sheep or are just used as pasture.   Common sense dictates where and when it's safe for dogs to run free and when caution needs to be exercised.  At the very minimum, there's your own private garden which provides a more than adequate lawned area for your exclusive use.

The bedroom has plenty of space under its arched roof for you and your four-legged friends  - which is great news if your dogs like to sleep in the same room as you.  No dogs on the bed though please!

Quilts, pillows and bed linen are provided, with extras stored under the beds just in case. Please bring whatever towels you need and whatever else your dogs may normally require.

One word of warning...

This is a typically rural cottage, and has low beams - be careful if you're tall.
